My name is Jerry Jones – aka “The WiFi Guy.” I put this site up to provide Wi-Fi device reviews, home networking tips and a Free eBook to help you set up an Awesome Home Network you can be proud of.

What Do I Know About Wireless Networking?

During my 25 years as an IT Support Technician, I spent several years setting up and supporting wireless networks for Comcast customers (poor souls) and another year installing commercial-grade wireless networks in large and small hotels all over the country. I spent another year creating websites and tutorials designed to help people set up their wireless routers and home networks.

I made them because I really enjoy making confusing technical subjects easy to understand.

That was back in the old “Wireless N” days. A lot has changed since then with the advent of WiFi 5, WiFi 6 and other wireless networking technologies that make WiFi almost as fast and reliable as Ethernet cabling. So I’m back with another site, more videos, and more reviews. I hope they serve you well.
