The TP-Link AC750 Extenders’ attractive, curvy design has a textured finish that’s pleasing to the eye. It’s small and sleek with no ugly antennas sticking out and it blends in nicely with most wall sockets. Once it’s plugged into the wall you’ll barely notice it except for the small LED indicator lights that provide the status of your 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. Hidden in the bottom you’ll find a 100Mbps Ethernet port and the WPS button that’s used for setup.
TP-Link AC750 Extender Features
A great feature of this extender is its OneMesh compatibility. If you pair it up with a OneMesh-compatible router such as the Archer A7 you can have the same seamless roaming you would with a much more expensive Mesh system. The app and web interface are easy to use and offer great alternatives to WPS which suffers from security flaws.

The TP-Link AC750 Wi-Fi Extender wasn’t designed to be super fast but its connections are solid. It delivers 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 433GHz on the 5GHz band. This is fine for one or two devices in a backroom in the far corner of a home. This is a dual-band extender which means you don’t suffer from the 50 percent loss of bandwidth of single-band extenders. One band can be configured as the backhaul while the other is used for devices.
Setup is simple and straightforward for anyone with some computer experience. You have the choice of using the Tether app on your phone, the WPS button, or a web interface. Once setup is complete you can move it to the location of your choice. You’re in range as long as the indicator light stays solid
